Concert Day Approaches

Went down this evening to listen to the orchestra practice and see how they are coordinating their multi-media show for their next concert. I'm coordinating a show with them and my camera group (It's not a CLUB, some insist) for the end of April. It was a good experience and gives me some ideas how it will be run. Initially, I wanted to produce a canned show, timed to the music, that the conductor would work to. But, after talking with him, that probably won't be the way we go. Too many variables to account for. I should have realized that, having been in band in high school. I guess I've been out of that long enough to have forgotten. Anyway, I got a recording of one of the pieces we'll be working with and hope to get more in the coming week or so. Everyone is excited about it and it will give our group more exposure, particularly to another audience of art lovers.

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention while we were in town my wife kept farting in the truck, so I had to lower the window to air things out (several times). Well, the power window broke (I'm not fond of electric windows) and refused to go back up. It's winter, you know. After a stop in the parking lot we were able to get the window back up (mostly) by hand and a bit of luck, but it's still about 3/4" open. And it's snowing again.
