After snow comes sunshine

After yesterday's snowy weather we got the promised sunshine today. It was lovely!

We spent the day at the allotment. Temperatures were around +2°C. The wood pigeons had arrived - at first they were singing from a tree, later they were enjoying a lovely meal of delicious seeds under our bird feeders.

M pruned the pear tree and Z chopped some wood and did a bit of shovelling. Three tiny winter aconites and the first snowdrops were in bud. Hopefully they will be blippable by next weekend. Hope you had a great day, too!
