Coot on the Water

Promised the husband he could stay in bed this morning so we had a very early morning trip to the big park. Carys scooted for miles around the paths and William was quacking at anything that showed a vague similarity to a duck.

Arrived home to find the water board about to dig up out meter looking for a leak. I asked if I could just go round them to get the car on the drive first, I returned to the car and started to reverse only for then to reverse their van into the side of my car. No one was hurt but they denied it was their fault despite it being the rear of their vehicle hitting the side of mine! Made me very grumpy the rest of the day just thinking about all the arguements conversations to come with Veolia and Direct Line. Sigh.

Nanna and Poppa have come for tea so I am posting whilewaiting for the pie to finish cooking and both children are occupied by someone other than myself.
Hope to do some commenting later but a huge pile of ironing needs to be got through so that may have to wait until tomorrow.
