Hand Thrown

Decided to go for something a little more dramatic today. Several years ago while visiting Kinsale just outside Cork City down in the South, we dropped by a craft fair where we made a couple of purchases. Among them were a couple of hand thrown pots, of which this is one. I think the second one is in the wardrobe. Must do a little search for it. You never know, you might see it here in Blipland yet.

This example sits in the front window on permanent display. About 10cms tall, it isn't waterproof so it only ever contains dried flowers or grasses but I like its rustic charm.

Off to Dublin tomorrow on the trip with my friend Eamonn. We were to have gone a couple of weeks ago but my cold put a stop to it, so you may get a street blip tomorrow if the digital gods favour me.
