Today I learned a new trick,
Now this sweet little face,
will actually deny all knowledge if asked,
because blaming it on mummy is much more fun,
mummy was busy, daddy was hangin washing on the line,
when there was a tap at the window,
ahem goes daddy to mummy,
do you mind,
what says mummy,
he says will you unlock the door,
She looks confused, say's it is,
No its not replied daddy,
Mummy goes to check,
I run away fast,
you see this growing lark
has it's benifits,
I grow taller, and things that were unreachable,
like door handles and keys are now reachable,
a quick fiddle with the keys and ha,
I have learnt a new trick,
How to lock daddy out,
gone are the days of disowning them,
because now I can just join in!!!
