Dimmer

The older lad's lights went 'bang'.
And then the room was a bit dimmer.

I narrowed it down to the dimmer switch by replacing with a normal switch, which made it all start working again.

Being the nosey type, I had to open it up to see what had happened.
Looks like a bit of an explosion in the circuit board.
