In Defense Mode

I was hoping that while we are here in the desert I would be able to take a photo of a roadrunner. I see them when we are on the golf course but they are usually too fast or I don't have my camera to get a picture. Today when I was on my walk I was lucky to see one in a yard. I took the picture on the left and then the roadrunner noticed me. He didn't move but he puffed up his feathers and kept his eye on me. I guess he thought he would scare me away. I took the picture on the right and as quickly as possible I left so he wouldn't have to be bothered by the lady with the camera.
