You mustn't be afraid if heights in the fire department. To prove it, climb this ladder, clip in your ladder belt at the top, and lean back to wave your arms. This is the first task of our Ground Ladders course.

We were privileged to have an aerial truck brought to the Academy today - it's a 105' "stick ladder". There wasn't much to see in the leaden skies, but it was a rush!
