"Re-Memories" #1

I fixed steak tonight (I buy a large package of the cheaper steaks, put two at a time in freezer bags with homemade marinade and then stick them in the freezer) -but, I digress. My number three daughter used to love steak. She especially loved the smell of peppers, onions, garlic and mushrooms sizzling in the pan. The only problem with that was that she didn't like to eat those things! So....I would cook them all, pull them out and then put the steaks in to cook. She got the smell and I got the peppers! Now, of course, she loves all those things, but cooking steak tonight I had to smile at my "re-memory"
