An act of Remembrance

I stopped in Teston on the way home - I was going to take some shots of the church but decided that the war memorial was more interesting because of the daffodils. When I went over for some closer shots I saw that the wooden crosses were still there from November and they were suitably weathered. I like the way this shot has caught the light on the stone and the little crosses and the remains of the poppies. No manipulation beyond resizing. The rest of the set is available on Flickr.
