What a beautiful day

Fantabulous morning so I opened the windows and sunroof and shared "Ziggy Stardust" at full volume (all the way up to 11) with the goof folk of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Saw a brief glimpse of a spotted woodpecker along the way. We're incredibly busy at work just now - big changes in how the university works and emails inviting students to contact us mean that we're not worried about idle hands. Two colleagues are leaving soon too - both are enjoying birthdays and are retiring. Tomorrow is Sylvie's birthday and as she doesn't work on Fridays there were cakes and flowers today.

So that was the best that Thursday could throw at us mes amis. Don't forget to celebrate surviving it before slinging yourself headlong into a luscious looking Friday
