Thing...

I ain't got a clue what it is!

Ewan spotted it on the ground about a month ago whilst we were sauntering around Edinburgh. It had that dirty oily gunk that suggests it comes from and engine and has small varying sizes of straight lines engraved along it's length at various intervals around it's circumference.

Once it was cleaned, it turns out that it's a very smooth metal, perfect for loitering in ones pocket for a couple of months... and in this case as a blipbanker.

It's actually been photographed in this situation about 5 or 6 times, but something else turned up.

Anybody got any idea what it is?
