Future Volleyballers

We have enjoyed two weeks of great volleyball games on the beach thanks to new friends and established players. Doubles, triples, and sometimes more made for spirited games every day. These two young boys, who collect cans for recycling, walk by just about every day and have taken an interest in the sport. Daryl, our local volleyball director (on the left), stands out on the hot sand for a half hour or so each afternoon teaching them basic skills. Who knows, by the time everyone returns next year, they might be right alongside us on the court for games instead of just practice.
