The Bus

We, like many others in Zihua, have become reliant on the neighborhood buses. While there is no set schedule, buses run from our street at La Ropa to the center of town about every 15 minutes. Starting early in the morning (I have never been up before they start running so don't know exactly when they begin service) they travel the two or so miles until 18:30 every day. Convenient and cheap they are the perfect way to turn a 30-40 minute walk into a 10 minute ride. If only they plied the streets after dark so we could ride one back from the occasional dinner at a restaurant.
