Ramna Geo

Out to Skara Brae and along the cliffs south. It was nice to see my first wheatear of the year. It will just have arrived from Africa.

The weather wasn't too good. Very grey and murky. It sometimes looked like it would brighten up only to start raining again. I had coffee overlooking this geo, watched by all the fulmars you can see. On as far as the Broch of Borwick and had another coffee out of the rain in the dorway of the 2000 year old building.

When the rain would stop there was beautiful light and muted colours in the sky and on the sea.
