A treemendous shame.

My thoughts for today's blip had taken many forms in my mind. Initially I had been working on a picture for the weekly challenge of 'Planning' and had some fairly satisfying results, which I may now have to return to tomorrow.

However instead of settling on the 'Planning' theme when it came to lunchtime myself and my good friend and colleague Lindsey took a walk to the nearby park and wood you believe it we came across a fallen tree. I couldn't leaf without getting a picture of this strangely affecting scene.

I only hope there was a good reason for the felling and it wasn't simply the result of some barking mad fool's destructive tendencies.

Most likely we'll never get to the root of it.
