What a night!

Beautiful cycle home tonight along Cramond Shore. Lots of folk out - walking, cycling, skating, rollerblading and just generally enjoying being out and about. All feeling good at the end of a perfectly sunny day.

Heading upstream along the river I noticed the water was cloudy with visibility into the water of only 4" With no rain in the catchment this colour was unusual and when I detected a strong smell of what I can best describe as the smell you get from ink marker pens I was worried there might have been a pollution incident. When I got home I reported it to the SEPA pollution line and await their response. Fingers crossed everything is okay.

Two days off coming up and a trip to the mountains beckons. Heading to the Ben Alder area the morn'
