Well, it's that time of the year again and the garden is ready for attention in order to alleviate the ravages of the winter. The grass has dried out so today it got its first mowing of the year. Tools have been checked and cleaned, blades sharpened and all is ready for the beauty treatment. This shot is simply three prongs of the pitchfork taken earlier on today in between grass cutting in the front garden and the back.

Your Query1. Some wondered why I am undertaking a Photoshop course. Well what I am doing is watching the way the course is laid out and the teaching techniques used. I have done a bit of P/S tutoring already but not in official college situations. With a view to moving into this sort of work in the future, taking this course is my first step.

Your Query2. The question of what I photographed yesterday was raised. Anyone who thought it was the side of a ship wasn't far off the target. The subject was a couple of large seagoing marker buoys. Hence the many coats of protective paint and the large sturdy rivets.
