Walking into the Light
It's 10.30pm and I have been trying to upload my blip since 7.30. Seems like the system is chugging along very very slowly tonight so with the hour so late now I sure won't be able to do any comments. Almost time for bed if I am to make the office ready for action in the morning.
Today was a most beautiful summery one with the temperature well up at around 20.5C in Dublin's Phoenix Park where we went after seeing a most sensational photo exhibition in the Gallery of Photography. Featuring the work of Per-Anders Pettersson and Sebastiao Salgado it treated us to a wonderful collection of work from the Amazon Rain Forests. This is the second time I have seen an exhibition os Salgado's work and I could use every cliche in the book to describe the sheer quality of his photography and still be left short of words. Much of the magic lies in the printing of course. All I can say is this... if you ever get an opportunity to see his original work, do not pass it up. Sheer bliss and magic beside which my own work doesn't deserve to be seen.
