A brief history of Friday
The great thing about a Friday night game is the anticipation of a Saturday morning lie in. Not that it wasn't fun to get to another part of the island (dangerously close to Magalluf, definitely botox country) and it was an exciting game with a score that betrayed a valiant Soller effort. So much better to enjoy a Chinese takeaway after too. A brief discussion with the owners about Chinese versus Spanish education (guess which one wins!) and then back to the fireside. The Spain Chech Rep. game was on, but Little A had had enough of football by then, so we let him win with the DVD of his choice. To our surprise, Stephen Hawking. There were so many questions and gasps from both throughout, but by the end of Chapter One, with big bang theory floating around the room, along with giant telescopes and lenses and Red Shift etc. the boys looked stuffed and stupefied on the sofa. A distant look in their eyes marvelling at the infinite unverse.
"Agu what do you think?" I asked. From his expression, I was half expecting a new theory to come spilling out.
"Bed" He replied.
O.k. Night night!
