Postie had a day off today so we had a long lie and a lazy start to the morning. After that he spent all day up to his oxters in the ditch he was digging for the foundations for the new room! My contribution was to stay out the way, keep Ollie out the way, provide tea, coffee, cake, biscuits, words of encouragement and a lasagne for tea tonight! Would have made him a sandwich for lunch, but due to the late start the bread was still in the bread maker. Made some soda bread instead and we had it warm with peanut butter and raspberry jam on! It gave him the energy he needed, and he carried on digging and barrowing until the rain started.

Also today the mobile library came down to the village. As I have said before it is a case of use it or loose it, so Ollie and I went and had a browse!
