A full day!
So much for my long lie! Day began at 7am with Abbie dogs puking all over the place at 7am! just puking bile and coughing, this went on till about 9am when I phoned the vet. However she seemed to get better and so off I went with the two doggies for a drive. First stop was a boat jumble sale at Ardfern where I bought crabs claws and pancakes. Next stop was a nice view point over Loch Awe with the dogs then onto Dalavich. I have to say that you really need to have a good reason to go to Dalavich! Its like in deepest forrested Argyll. I arrived at a very busy wee cafe full of all sorts of blown overs and brought overs and a few natives but a very nice place with good coffee. While there I called in on an old wifey I knew and she as fair chuffed at getting a visit so we had a nice wee ceilidh. Next stop was down by Loch Aweside to let doggies out for a paddle.
From Dalavich I went onto Taychregan finally surfacing at Taynult and passed a new fangled village called Otters Creek! Whats wrong with decent Scottish names! Otter Creek sound like a place out of Twin Peaks!
From there I venterued to Loch Etive and doggies had some more paddles returning via Oban and back to Home.
All in all I saw donkeys, cows, dogs (a big poodle) lamas, pig, sheep and loads of people.
Day ended with a slap up meal of crabs claws, salad and a jolly bottle of red.
Hope you all have a good blip weekend folks
