Bothwell Castle

It was a glorious sunny day today. We did a food shop, then went to Bothwell Castle for Kerr to run off some energy, and to make use of our Historic Scotland memberships.

Kerr and Kerrsdaddy are in this photo - they just look particularly tiny against the huge castle!

Kerr walked the most he has ever done - from the car to the castle, around the inside of the castle grounds, then all the way round the perimeter of the castle and back to the car again. That's a fair old way for a little pair of legs!

He finally went for a nap mid afternoon after refusing earlier to nap in his cot. I had to resort again to taking Fudge out for a walk, and Kerr fell asleep in the pram.

A quiet night in for us tonight. A wee glass of wine and Boardwalk Empire on the telly - it's our favourite programme at the moment and always seems like a long time to wait until the next episode!
