Daffy Down Dilly

A quiet (ish) day. Bad late last night, I had to wait up for child #3 to get back from her school trip to London; she got in at 2am. She pottered off to see her aunty when I took child #1 and #2 to volunteer in the Save Our Cinema shop (they got bored and went to the library).

I have been reading about death all week for my noir essay research, so the quietness of the quarry and the brightness of the daffodils were a perfect foil for the dark reading.
