Waterplay

A busy day at work and I found time to walk in our quiet little park late this afternoon. I love to watch the patterns that the water makes as it falls over and across the shiny aluminum surfaces of the feature wall. The concrete and the metallic are an intriguing combination. How they react to the water, look wet or not. How the water falls across these surfaces, tumbles over one aluminum ledge, slides down another. I was taken by the shapes as much as the water forms.

Wabi-sabi is the Japanese concept that says " There is a beauty of things impermanent, imperfect and incomplete." I wonder if this is what they mean.
