Sidewalk patterns

In Calgary for work this week. Had a great walk after work. Lots to blip but in the end couldn't escape these sidewalk patterns. They struck me as being very Picasso-esque. I am thinking of some of his drawings of women. He always sketched their limbs, legs or arms as stalking, rather "trunk-like". This pattern reminded me of the form relationships in his sketches.
