Quince

Yesterday I tried not to blip more blossom and anyway I can't reach the cheery cherry blossom without a ladder, but today I just had to, and I dare say it won't be the last...

I think quince is related to apples and pears but of course is too bitter to be eaten raw. The most common use is making quince jelly to serve with ham or game birds, but for me a glass of wine, nice piece of creamy goats cheese, fresh bread and quince jelly takes some beating
