A life over

I always find it sad when I stumble upon a little cottage hidden behind an overgrown hedgerow. There are a lot of these abandoned little homes about, (before we consider the vast amount of "new" ghost estates)

This former home is for sale and is based in a rural area a couple of miles from Mohill, Co Leitrim. To see remnants of a life strewn about is quite moving. This little cottage will be my theme for the next series of images.

Personally, the faded colours remind me of the former life...
