A life over

Continuing on with this subject. I made a detour this morning on the way to work in Dublin. The weather was very stormy and the sky a heavy grey.

This image is in stark contrast to yesterday's, but it does give a good impression of how dark these old cottage interiors were. It also gives an idea of how bleak this part of the country can be.

I like the fact that the net curtains are still hanging, even though there is plenty of evidence that cattle have been wandering in and around the place.
