Not blossom. Or pretty.
I felt quite traumatised yesterday after posting a pretty, nature photo of blossom and needed a lie down and a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio to recover.
The final part of my therapy is here, in the form a nice blip of some tatty, concrete buildings belonging to Leed Met and due for demolition.
Poor LeedsMet - it made the news last week when it announced it would charge £8500 per annum for student fees and the not-very-impartial BBC referred to it as "the former polytechnic" and one of the "newer, less selective group of universities" OoooOoohh ;-)
Oh and the title refers to the fact that as I type this, yesterday's blip has got 130 views, 34 comments and is still within 24 hours of posting. Is it on the spotlight? No. Was Tuesday's that ended its 24 hours with 150 views and 31 comments? No.
Now, I know the spotlight depends on a range of factors, but both of these blips had more views and comments than several that did make the spotlight. I take my photos for me, not to get on the spotlight (some of my blips are done with specific blippers in mind too :-) but I don't like things that are illogical and confusing. They make my brain hurt....
As always, size matters.
Ps - these antibiotics that I'm still on give me a nasty, bitter taste in my mouth. I'm trying to counteract this side-effect by eating chocolate. Seems to be working. I'll try it later with some wine - see if that works too ;-)
