Looks like the end....

No this is not an epitaph for the end of my brothers' 39th year, actually it would be the end of his 40th year when he turns 40, if you think about it. I know my anally specific, scientifically minded son would pick this up so I better correct it first.

Rather, this is just the end for the tulips I blipped over a week ago and again last Friday.

Boy have they lasted well on that sunny window ledge! A little sustenance provided every now and then and they just keep going, raising their heads trying to look their best. I think we've all been doing a bit of that here over the last couple of years.

When they are as tired looking as they are now, I felt they really needed the mono treatment, but I definitely prefer the splash of colour in this shot as I like to think there is always colour if you are prepared to look for it.

Philosophical or what!!
