What with one thing and another it's been a while since I've played tennis, but fortunately the one lady missing from my Mixed Doubles blip series was playing tonight.

Meet Jane, she's in fact the latest recruit to our rota, only joining us since January, but has proven an invaluable addition. As injury has struck some of our other ladies, Jane has enthusiastically stepped into the breach and has probably played more games than any other lady since January - Oh I can remember being young and enthusiastic once too.

It's been a long old week for Jane though, she's also involved in the local amateur dramatic society and they're currently rehearsing Alan Ayckbourn's play Communicating Doors. Her role? Poopay Dayseer, a professional dominatrix. Rumour has it that tickets are currently changing hands at over three times face value!
