Kilpisjarvi

A day of getting medical advice for James, a package of cream being despatched to Kilpis on the local bus. The advice though is that he shouldn't carry on, so also a day of working out how he can get back to Narvik.

A day for re-stocking the pulk.

A day of studying maps and drawing up and altering plans, searching the internet for scraps of information.

So should the weather be perfect, should we all remain fit the plan is:

Kilpis to Gappo 27k 260m ascent
Gappo to Rosta 18k 330m ascent
Rosta to Daerta 15k 500m ascent
Daerta to Dividal 20k 370m ascent
Dividal to Vuoma 17k 400m ascent
Vuoma to Altevass 26k 240m ascent
Altevass to Lappjord 23k 630m ascent
Lappjord to Abisco & train / bus to Narvik.

No rest days, so in other words no chance! But single day escape routes from all the huts so we'll just have to see how far we get.
