Returning to the theme of places of worship, it was difficult to ignore this shrine that has sprung up on a very busy corner of Bangkok. People constantly come here to pray and be prayed and chanted for.

For a nominal sum you can have singers and musicians play a chant on your behalf while you kneel and pray as well.

All this happens in the open air with traffic snarling nearby and trains running on the skytrack overhead.
