Orange bottomed bumblebee

On the way in from the washing line, I spotted a huge sleepy bee on a clump of grass, it looked completely black 'til it shifted and I saw the tip of it's tail.

By the time I fetched my camera it had moved onto some paving, hence the grotty background!

And on the subject of washing lines - having hung out a load of washing I fully expect it to rain this afternoon..
