Zhao Ling Tomb

This tomb is in the city of Shenyang. THe following information is taken from plaques and boards around the park surrounding the tomb. I am not familiar with some of the terms. In fact they may just be bad English but I will write it verbatim. Not to poke fun but to give it authenticity.

The Zhao Ling Tomb is the tomb of Tai Zong who is the second emperor of the Qing Dynasty and Empress Xiaduanwen, Borjite.

The tomb wall is also called "The Round Wall". It was made or gray bricks with the crenel and parapet. Also called "Dulong (single dragon) Mound", the tomb is a mounded tumulus in the middle of the Tomb Wall with a periphery of about 110 meters, which was made of mortar (lime sand and yellow earth). On the top an elm tree was planted to follow the custom of the ancestors' tomb (Yongling Tomb). Beneath the tomb lies the Underground Palace where the owners rest.
