Snowy Street

It snowed like crazy last night.. In some places the snow was 2 feet deep. I finally worked out how they get rid of the snow.

In the main streets, they use huge front end loaders to collect the snow and put it in big piles like this on street corners and then load it into trucks and haul it away. People then swarm like ants (city workers) and shovel the snow from the footpaths onto the street where it is collected like this.

The back streets have to wait till later and this street (the blip) is a back street. Some people still shovel the snow onto the footpaths in some of the back streets like this but in all.. it's quite a mess with stacks of snow EVERYWHERE.
