Gatos

We've taken to visiting a house each day in the Mexican neighbourhood away from the tourist zone. They have five cats that look like street cats, who hang out at that house getting fed when they can (they're all painfully thin).
So now we buy a big bag of cat food each day, stroll to the house and feed the cats (except for one, he is fussy and will only eat eggs).

The woman who lives there is incredibly friendy, we communicate as best we can using hand gestures, a phrasebook and our very limited spanish skills.
Today she was giving her adorable baby daughter a bath in a sink outside, Lucy gave her a necklace as a gift, which almost caused a cuteness overload.

On the walk back we came across another cat, sat in the shade of a flower shop. As she purred and rolled over, letting us tickle her belly, the owner came over and led us down an alleyway.
We had no idea what he was saying, but as fortune favours the brave, we gladly followed.

In his backyard were three tiny kittens, belonging to the cat out front. They were a month old and terrified of us, but their mum soon came over and calmed them down.

And so we thanked the man and were on our way, full of feline joy.
