Brown and White

This evening I walked along the 'Balcon' - the high path that is cut into the mountain's side, from the Fornet to Val d'Isere. The entire south facing side of the Val valley is now devoid of snow, and so all the summer paths are exposed. And now the clocks have been turned back the evenings are light.

I saw one marmot, three bouquetin and assorted feathered friends.

Sky blue is missing as the weather came in this afternoon. It looks set to rain up to 2000m tomorrow, but there should be snow above that.
