Beagles Rule the Day

However, this is NOT the beagle that won Best of Show at the Westminster Dog Show this week. This is Skeeter, a beagle belonging to friends we occasionally see during our regular walks in the park.

Dogs make great photographic subjects, and their owners are usually more than willing when I ask, "Will your dog pose for a photo op?" One dog's owner told me that they "framed Zorro's picture and put it in the place of honor on top of the TV set."
