Baby Buck

My favorite picture for today was a cardinal, but since I posted one recently, I decided this would be a good day for a deer. Judging by the little tufts of hair over his eyes where the antlers will soon begin to grow, this is a young buck. He was one of a herd of 11 or 12 that were milling around by the trail, hoping for a handout I suspect. Also among the group was Rascal.

Thanks to all you wonderful Blippers who commented on my 365th blip on Saturday. I'm aiming for 500 now. Maybe I'll miss a day here and there (the really rainy, nasty days), but Blipping is in my blood, so I don't think I can stop, even if I wanted to. It's become a great discipline, and you lot are such a great bunch of Blippers.
