Shocking

The pile of stuff in the background is the shock absorber that hopefully at some point will be under the lawn and even more hopefully will be the only shocking thing about this whole escapade.

At the moment front runner seems to be the disappearance of any of the people who were working in the garden. Am assuming lunch, though it has been quite a while. Can't begin to hope they have gone to buy a replacement clematis for the one they have killed.

Will remain optimistic about the transformation from dust-bowl to meadow via gravel-pit.
