Bled Castle

After finding out that like many things the river rafting place was also shut (as the real tourist season doesn?t start for another couple of weeks) we weren?t sure what to do with ourselves. But we happened to see the old guy who owns the apartment who asked how we were and said he ring around and see if he could sort it out for us, which he did very kindly. So we went rafting in the afternoon for 10km down a beautiful river, we even jumped out into it though it was so cold you could barely breathe! It did mean though that I have hardly any photos, we went for a brief wander to the lake in the morning but the direction of the sunlight made it hard to get a good picture from where we were. Nevertheless the can still get an idea of how amazing the castle is from this I hope! In the evening we had an amazing 3 course meal for 10 Euros, SO much food!
