A Crowd.

You can't visit the Lake District in Spring and not capture a few daffs.
These, at the roadside, were breathtaking. Even on a dull day.
We paused (shooting on the 'hurry-up'. B****y tourists!) and, again, I was determined to be a 'manual' person. So, obviously, again :-( it's not a great image.
I'm well into 'conscious incompetence', and more than a little frustrated.
We have some incredible snaps from the little compact camera and I'm beginning to wonder whether all this 'manual' is worth all the effort!
Aside from camera self-imposed camera frustrations ('just put it on auto') we're having a lovely time and have eaten our own weight in fab food.
And, I'm happy to report that chocolate shops are alive and well in this area (unlike home) and so is the violet cream!

P.S. Am feeling more than a little deaf.
Not ALL toilet lids are soft closing like the new one at home.
I'm not picking up the learning curve very quickly on this either!
