Wellington

The conference ended last night and yesterday the rest of the family flew up to join me spend the weekend in Wellington.

It was a funny day, sunny, cloudy and wet, but not too bad overall. We spent the morning in the city, a great breakfast at "The Lido", then a wander through town and a ride up the cable car. And then on the train out to see friends in Raumati for the afternoon, including fish and chips and red wine on the beach.

Then back to Wellington, and by luck there was a fireworks display that night that we could see from our apartment. Great day ;-)
