Let battle commence

It's been a long day today. I was up at 6:30am to get ready for swimming. With the bathroom out of action whilst we're decorating I think I was looking forward to the shower at the pool more than the swim itself. Beforehand though I had a few patches of basecoat left to do where the primer hadn't dried yesterday.

We then squeezed in a food shop before lunch and for the rest of the day I have been elbow deep in assingments and painting. The second base coat was done by early afternoon so when my brain gave up around 8pm I decided it was time for a study break and headed paint brush in hand to the bathroom. After months of messy half stripped walls, I am now back to beautiful, colourful bathroom walls. The second coat will need to go on tomorrow then I've got to finish stripping out the bath sealant and replace it then 24 hours later I will be able to have a bath! I'm so excited. The ceilling will require me to buy the 3rd tin of white paint to give it a final coat and cover up the gaps (and the odd colourful splodge) but overall it will look finished!
