Sunshine on spring days
On waking this morning, rain and wind were lashing the bay window. The day was dark and dreary and it didn't look set to get any better. By 11am I'd got my assignment finished and submitted so I headed to the bathroom to get the final topcoat done. By the time I'd finished painting and headed back through the day was fast improving, there was even a glimmer of sunshine.
After lunch I took a lovely sunny (but windy) stroll up to the Chocolate Tree to meet my friend K. Imagine my delight to find that they are now selling ice cream, including several dairy free "sorbets" I'm loathed to call them sorbet as they're far too tasty and delicious to go by that watery name. Afterwards we headed down to Run 4 It to try and find walking shoes for the Moonwalk. I had my ankles videoed whilst on a treadmill (rather odd) to find out what type of shoe I need. Found some nice ones (albeit rather pink) but was slightly shocked how much good quality shoes cost. I know I need the good shoes to avoid injury but they just seem so expensive for PINK trainers!
On the way home I enjoyed the sunshine and warm summers breeze as I got some shots along the canal. I had a nice one of a moorhen but was more pleased with this one given how windy it was.
