Having a soak

This boy seems to be feeling a bit better today. Thank goodness for Calpol and antibiotics! He is still not himself, and gets quite grumpy and restless when the Calpol wears off, but compared with yesterday he is a lot better.

We had an indoors day today, tackling housework and trying to get rid of some of the dust which seems to be coating everything.

My lovely mum came round and helped with the clear up. She gutted the bathroom and tv room while I worked on doing all the filing and cleaning the bedrooms. It's amazing how much better you feel after a de clutter.

Extension update: allegedly the builder is waiting for a break in the weather before doing roughcasting and new roof. I'm hoping the forecast is correct and expecting great things tomorrow. Hmmmm, we'll see.
