Sun Dial

I found this awesome sun dial on the ranch today.  It was a new discovery...don't know how I've missed it up until now.  It's actually reading pretty much the precise time, about 3:30.

The Roman numerals on the right go from I-VI.
On the left, from VII- peaking at XII.

If you notice, the numerals closer to the top are squished closer together and as they move farther down the dial, they are increasingly spaced farther apart.  

I thought that was fascinating.  Look at this in LARGE to see finer detail.
