Wall flower

Had another good session at swimming today. On Tuesday The Boy had started counting his lengths and so today, the competitive side of me came out and I really pushed myself to stay on track with him. On our wander home I spotted these little purple flowers on a wall.

When the post arrived just before lunch there was one of those lovely "sorry we missed you" cards telling me that two parcels that should have been delivered last week were now waiting for me at the depot. Normally I'd rearrange delivery but given they were already delayed, I made the hour and a half round trip on the bus to the sorting office. It was worth it though and by the time I was back my final parcel had been delivered. So now my laptop doesn't overheat due to a lovely stand with a fan, I have a sensible vegetable rack so that I can see the veg I have and it doesn't sit and go fusty sitting in the box every week, but best of all, the corners of the cooker hood can no longer bite you thanks to an amazing silicone putty, I can see the rest of it coming in very useful!

The only downside to the day was a cup of coffee. Whilst there are certain foods I have to cut out completely as they make me very ill, there are a handful that I can usually get away with just a little of. So instead of going for a nap I decided to treat myself to a little cup of coffee, BAD IDEA! I got even more tired and woke up in my chair three hours later and a dress size bigger. I think I'll be avoiding coffee completely now too.
